Hello, my name is Michele Azenzer, Owner and President of Happy Life Coaching. I am grateful you've taken the time to visit my website.
Deciding to trust your innermost feelings with a stranger is a big risk, so I wanted you to know a little about me and what I represent.
For the last 17 years, people knew me best as an Assistant Director in the television industry. I have always been a goal setter, so it was no surprise that I quickly moved from the mail room, to working behind the scenes on hundreds of television shows. However, deep down I aspired for something greater.
On paper, my life seemed fulfilled and perfect, but something was missing. I wanted something else; something outside of "me". I became a Big Sister at a foster home in Hollywood for 8 years. That experience changed my life. It taught me that I had something to give back, that I actually had a positive impact on people, and that I could affect the lives of others. That was a tremendous shift. Nevertheless, I still gravitated towards the perceived "glamour” of the Hollywood lifestyle knowing that I was not satisfied emotionally or spiritually.
In addition to my experience as a Big Sister, I mentor several women with eating disorders and body obsession. Having been mentored myself in that area – I feel it very important to give back the gifts I have been given. I have also served as key speaker on leadership skills and effective management for the USC television production program.
Through my work with others, I came to the conclusion that it was time to make a change. After much soul searching, I decided to become a Wellness and Life Coach - Talk about risk.
I changed the course of my life. I walked away from a life that I grew accustomed to and essentially was all I had known for a better part of my adulthood; scary stuff. As I sit here today, I know there is no other choice for me. This is my calling and I have never looked back.
In 2006, Happy Life Coaching was established.
